Energy Days 2015

Written on the 11th March, 2015

The European Commission has announced its support for Energy Days.  These are not-for-profit public events that promote secure, clean and efficient energy.   They can cover a range of activities including seminars, workshops, presentations, talks, exhibitions, concerts, games, quizzes or displays.  The event must take place in June and there seems to be no restriction on the organisers which can include public authorities, private companies, energy agencies, NGOs, co-operatives etc. The events form part of the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) which operates from 15-19 June 2015. Within the EUSEW, Energy Days are given Europe-wide visibility. All Energy Day organisers are provided with exclusive rights to use the EUSEW logo, promotional tools downloadable from the EUSEW website, and an online participants management tool. The EUSEW team have already produced Guidelines for Organisers. The starting point for those interested in organising an Energy Day is to create a profile on www.eusew.eu  The website also has more information on Energy Days and Energy Week. For more information you can contact  the EUSEW Secretariat on [email protected].  European Policy Solutions can also assist in the organisation of your event.
