European Hydrogen Ports Conference – Main Sponsor Announced

European Policy Solutions is pleased to announce that the University of Hull will be the main  sponsor of the European Hydrogen Ports Conference to be held in Brussels on 8 November 2018.  With Hull City Council, the East Riding of Yorkshire, and Associated British Ports, the University is a partner in Green Port Hull.

The vision of Green Port Hull is to establish Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire as a world class centre for renewable energy.  This will be done by exploiting Hull’s prime location in relation to offshore wind opportunities in the North Sea.  The University of Hull is working to ensure that the knowledge element of this sector establishes itself in Hull.

As well as offshore wind, there are major opportunities in the Region for hydrogen, biofuels, waste to energy, solar, wind, wave and tidal power generation.
