European Policy Solutions Ltd. has become the first Member of a new Membership Scheme introduced by Scotland House in Brussels.
Being a Member of Scotland House will give European Policy Solutions access to a great base in Brussels and membership includes:
· 15 days hot desking including wi-fi access and kitchen area.
· Free access to meeting rooms three times a year for smaller meetings such as project meetings.
· A discount of 25% for the first booking of the excellent Scotland House Conference Centre.
· Profile of European Policy Solutions on Scotland House Website.
· Participation in Scotland House Brussels political, economic and cultural events.
Jon Jordan, Director of European Policy Solutions, said, “This is an excellent membership scheme for organisations that frequently visit Brussels but don’t need a permanent base. European Policy Solutions held a European Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Policy Conference in Scotland House in November last year and the membership allows us to build on the contacts made.”
Jon went on to say “It’s great to be associated with Scotland House and Scotland Europa again. I was Secretary of the East of Scotland European Consortium which was the first local authority grouping to join Scotland Europa and was then CoSLA’s Permanent Representative in Brussels from 1993 to 1996.”
“Brexit is a difficult time for those of us that have close links to the EU. It is crucial that UK organisations keep a close eye on EU developments. I have worked in the hydrogen fuel cell and electromobility policy area for the last four years and it is essential that the UK hydrogen and electromobility industries follow EU policy developments. It is inconceivable that the UK will adopt different rules, regulations and safety standards to the rest of the EU. In addition, it is vital that the UK is part of EU funding programmes such as Horizon 2020 and its successor, Horizon Europe.”
