The NS HYMaP/SHFCA’s webinar “Hydrogen Bridges Across the North Sea Region” is now an EU Energy Day. This is the first 2021 Energy Day in the UK- and, at the moment, it is the only Energy Day in the UK. Energy Days are an important part of the EU’s Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) and information about the webinar on the EUSEW website can be found here. Click on the green circle over France and the Channel/Manche and it will lead you to the webpage.
The Webinar will take place on Thursday 2 September beginning at 2.30 BST and will last for around an hour and a half.
This webinar on Hydrogen Bridges across the North Sea Region explores how North Sea Ports will act as hydrogen bridges. Through their proximity to renewable energy and potential in the production, storage and transportation of hydrogen, ports will fulfil a key role in the energy transition to hydrogen across the North Sea Region. Speakers include Jan Egbertsen from the Port of Amsterdam on their hydrogen developments, Joanne Allday from the Port of Cromarty Firth on the North of Scotland Hydrogen Programme, and Paul Turner of CMB TECH who recently opened a multi-modal refuelling station in the Port of Antwerp. The event will be moderated by Nigel Holmes of SHFCA and Jon Jordan of the North Sea Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Community (NS HyMaP).
