NS HyMaP Publishes First Information Bulletin

The North Sea Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Community (NS HyMaP) has published its first Information Bulletin.  The Bulletin will be published on a fortnightly basis and will contain information of  interest to the hydrogen ports and maritime community in the North Sea Region.  Bulletins are free for an introductory period.

The first bulletin has a wide range of articles including:

  • The Changing Role of Ports – A View from the United Kingdom – An Opinion Piece by Mark Button of Arup.
  • Technical Assessment of Zero Carbon Fuels – A Report by Lloyd’s Register and UMAS on the adoption of zero carbon fuels in the maritime sector.
  • Hydrogen Europe’s 2 x 40 GW Green Hydrogen Initiative
  • FCH-JU Launches Hydrogen Valley Platform
  • European Commission Announces Plan for a Clean Hydrogen Alliance.

The North Sea Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Community (NS HyMaP) was launched after the Second North Sea Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Conference held in Brussels on 11 February 2020.   It has been launched originally as a Membership Based Information Exchange and will look at widening its scope later this year.  Membership is open to a wide range of organisations interested in developing hydrogen based applications in the North Sea ports and maritime sector.  Membership is free until the end of August 2020.  Please contact Jon Jordan for a Membership Application.
