Following a successful first webinar, European Policy Solutions and NS HyMaP are pleased to
invite you to our second webinar which reviews the key strategic reports that have been
published into greater Northern German-Scottish co-operation in the development of a
hydrogen economy. They cover a wide range of issues including the creation of a value chain,
imports and exports, pipeline feasibility, formation of energy partnerships etc.

This webinar looks at the key strategic reports and projects published both by Government and
independent organisation. The webinar will begin with a joint presentation between NZTC and
cruh21. It will look predominantly at their joint study matching Scottish hydrogen production to
the German need for hydrogen imports but it will cover a wide range of key issues including the
original Scot-Ger Study and the European Hydrogen Backbone.

NOW GmbH is the German organisation charged with the transformation of mobility and Annett
Wess will look at the HyLand project. This project looks at how the mobility sector and energy
production will work together in the development of a sustainable energy system.

In 2024, the Scottish Government commissioned a study to look at the supply chain export
opportunities which was delivered by Arup. We have David Robb from Arup to outline the study.
David will also look at the study in relation to Germany.
