Third North Sea Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Conference: Update

Written on the 11th March, 2022

Earlier this week, the Belgium Government lifted many of its public health restrictions which means that Conferences can operate at full capacity and food and refreshments can be served.  Vaccination certificates are needed for travel but the changes do mean that the Third North Sea hydrogen Ports and Maritime Conference can go ahead without major restrictions.   It is  just over two years since the last North Sra Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Conference and it will be great to meet up again.

The Conference will be held  on Tuesday 5 April 2022 in the Scotland Europa Conference Centre at the Rond-Point Schuman in Brussels.   There is an excellent list of speakers  including Bart Biebuyck, Executive Director of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership JU and Jaap Gebraad from the Waterborne Transport JU.  We also have senior speakers from DG Research, DG Move and DG Clima and these speakers will outline the impact of the Fit for 55 Package on the  ports and maritime  sectors.  The Conference also looks at the importance of ports as Hydrogen Valleys, hydrogen vessel design and hydrogen bunkering and transport and we have speakers from the hydrogen, ports and maritime sectors.
